The Red Rock Trail was built in 2016 in memory of Neal Allen: a father, a friend, and a faithful community member. Family and friends of Neal worked alongside MAC staff to construct a new fitness and nature trail at the MAC. The Red Rock Trail consists of 1.2 miles of rolling terrain located within the undeveloped property at the MAC. The Red Rock Trail ties into public sidewalk systems near the entrance to the Meade County Fair Grounds, and loops back past the court house to the Meade Activity Center.
The entire loop creates a three-mile natural and beautiful trail for various fitness activities. Family and Friends of Neal, along with Jason Sutton and John Beavin provided the vision to create a trail with a dual Purpose. It will always serve as a lasting memory of Neal Allen and the work he did to support the local community that he cared for dearly.
