The Meade Activity Center lost a dear friend this morning. Pam Pollock was one of the most open, honest, and charismatic people I have ever come across. From the time that I first met Pam, she always “said it like it is” and found a way to put a smile on my face.
A long-time civilian at Fort Knox, Pam was also one of the most giving people that I have ever met. She was quite literally the person who would give you the shirt off of her back. She was willing to help out with junior golf events and always seemed to get me laughing with her commentary about our young participants.
Pam was active in her church. She helped orchestrate the ladies league here at River Trace Golf and HCC for years. She was a volunteer for multiple organizations. More than anything though, she was just one of my favorite people to interact with since moving home and starting my career at the MAC five years ago. She was always supportive of me personally, and had that rare ability in a person to rile you up and then laugh right along with you.
From all of us at the Meade Activity Center, but especially me, we will miss you Pam.
